Woodland Park is the largest town in Teller County, and a big share of its housing went up between the late 1970s and the 2000s. That era brought hardboard and T1-11 siding, plus hard-coat stucco on the later subdivisions. Hard-coat stucco at 8,465 feet runs through a punishing number of freeze-thaw cycles each year. Cracks open at corners and stress points, and stucco repair is the first call.

Once the substrate is sound, stucco painting with an elastomeric can bridge hairline movement instead of telegraphing it back through in a season. Product only works if it goes on in the window: surface temperature above spec, no overnight freeze during cure. Woodland Park drops hard after sundown even in July, so we schedule around the diurnal swing rather than the daytime high.
